Leg shape and position – pointed toe but relaxed

Gentle kicks – dont burn out – like a flag flapping – like shaking off water – hear the thuds

ballerina exercise – stretch legs and ankles – relaxed but stretched – kick from thighs

stopping practice – leg curl to chest then arms

Breathing and little jumps in water

Flutter Kick

Dont kick from knee – kick from hip

Barrell roll – elbow out and stretch

Side breath – keep kicking fast or body goes under – one hand stretched out

Pulling Arm

Wait 5 secs

Do the above peacefully

Arm rotation – exhale just before last stroke

Back Floating

Open arms

Rolling

Don’t lift head

After roll take a deep breath

Fold hand to the chest

Side Stroke

Back float and stroke

Tread water

Breast stroke
